Spreading fame for local artist

Paintings by the Ciutadella artist, Carles Gomila, will be displayed at the Spring Fair International in Birmingham from 1st to 5th February. The following month his work will form part of a collective exhibition, "Man and Beast", opening on 5th of the month at the A Gallery in Wimbledon. Paris is the next stop for the young Menorcan and an exhibition entitled "My Doll" which will be held at the end of March and beginning of April. Carles Gomila is also negotiating for a solo exhibition to be held at the "Fine Grime" gallery in Bath and the "Knife Smith" in Bristol. Nearer home his work will be on show in the Vidrart gallery in Ciutadella in August, the Kalós Gallery in Barcelona at the end of the year and La Fábrica in Maó next year.
