Win takes Valeriano Allés to fifth place
An away victory against the Hotel Cantur team on Saturday (2:3) put Valeriano Allés on equal points with the team from Gran Canaria in the Superliga and assured their participation in the play-off for the final.

In the last match of the first phase of the league, the Ciutadella volleyball team will face Jamper Aguere, currently ninth, in a home game on Saturday, starting at 1900 hrs.


ViveMenorca drop to last place after latest defeat
The 86:61 defeat at the hands of FC Barcelona on Sunday resulted in ViveMenorca dropping to last position in the ACB league. In order to survive in the premier Spanish league the local basketball team has to win at least four of the remaining seven games.

The team's next challenge will come on Sunday in a home match against MMT Estudiantes, currently in 13th place in the league.
