The Guardia Civil have arrested four men in connection with six robberies; four at houses on the coast of the Sant Lluís district, one in Sant Climent and one in Palma.

The case opened with the arrest of a man found inside a villa in Binibèquer, having forced a window to gain access. He was carrying another person's identity card which he had used to enter Menorca as he is currently banned from the island. His arrest led to other crimes and suspects being investigated and the arrest of three other people. Those arrested are J.M.L. and J.B.S., both 21 years of age, M.V.P., 22, and R.V.S. 26.

To date police have recovered two laptops, two televisions (one a plasma screen), a printer, two music systems, an MP4, eight mobile phones, two cameras and various items of jewellery, with a total value of 5,000 euros. They expect to recover more stolen items.
